Here on the orb website, we pride ourselves in having a website that is different, unique, and provides a different experience then most other clan websites we come across.
One of those ways we like to stand out is to give credit to those who are responsible for supplementing a lot of what makes the orb site unique.
A lot of work is put into engineering the orb website and its features, but I, Lucid, didn't do it all alone. This page is designed to give credit for code and design used in the
orb website, whatever they may be.

He has always lived at least a few states away from me and still answers his phone when I call him when there are serious server problems. A vast majority of the code that is the core architechture of this website is built on the phpbb forum code. In my personal opinion, phpbb is the best and most versatile free open source forum software solution, and I definatly have loved it since I switched to it. In the 4 and a half years running phpbb, it has never yeilded a security flaw. We have had only one security incident related to a specific mod's security vulnerability, and not phpbb's. |

TooCrooked did all the hard work in replicating the in-game server status window (and incredibly accurate, I might add) into a webpage layout which works seamlessly with Andrew's t1 server stat code.

All of the AJAX implementation in this site is based on the core untilities of Script.aculo.us's AJAX library. Currently, the majority of this is in the visual effects library included. These scripts are coupled with the Prototype Javascript Library. We aren't there yet, but the AJAX functionality provided by script.aculo.us library have paved the way for the future Orb website's applications of the Ruby On Rails framework. |

This information, and parsing code was provided by the bf2s.com website. Its accurate, fast, and easy to use. Its definatly very cool he provided the xml feeds needed to relay this information allowing our website to have up-to-date and accurate stat information on our battlfield 2 profiles. |
